What if I need to cancel or re-arrange ?

Should you need to cancel, you will be offered alternative dates or a refund, please contact our administrator Jackie O'Connell on 07973 282239.
An administration charge will be applied should you have to cancel.

Why would Swingbridge cancel the cruise ?

Swingbridge is staffed by volunteers and occasionally cruises need to be cancelled due to a lack of crew.
The River Wey occasionally in the summer months goes into flood, when it is unsafe on the river and cancellation is required.

Does a toilet exist on the boat ?

Swingbridge 1 does have a camping style toilet on-board, but if possible it is better to use the National Trust facilities at Dapdune Wharf before the start of the cruise.

Will I have a contact phone number for the boat's skipper ?

You will be forwarded the relevant contact details before your cruise.

What if we are delayed on the day ?

Please phone the skipper of the day to inform them of your arrival time.

What if the passenger numbers change on the day ?


As long as our maximum numbers of 12 are not exceeded, it isn't a problem.
Please note a wheelchair user counts as two people.
