The 2 Hour Cruises are for community groups, the elderly and families - especially those who have limited mobility or other special needs.

Revitalise your senses as you glide gently through leafy woodland and open fields, spotting graceful heron and darting kingfishers. Our boat is fully equipped to board wheelchair guests with ease, so they can enjoy the calming benefits of fresh country air at a relaxing pace. All ages and abilities are welcome on board. Let our qualified volunteer crew indulge you with complimentary hot and cold drinks and biscuits while they talk a little about the centuries old traditions and history of this special environment. Aimed particularly at disadvantaged people within the community and those with special needs or disabilities, a trip on Tranquility is an experience never forgotten.
Groups of up to 12 people can be comfortably accommodated on board.
Swingbridge 1 provides an ideal outing for residents of care homes, respite, therapy and rehab centres.

This is an ideal activity for team-building for young people and adults alike. Our volunteer trainers are a friendly crowd, skilled at sharing their knowledge and creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere on our floating classroom.
The course covers all the basics of how to crew Swingbridge,  including hands-on instruction in driving to qualify for a Swingbridge Certificate of Achievement. A one day boating skills course makes a great activity day with a difference for families or groups of friends.

Join Santa aboard Tranquility our broadbeam boat this Christmas for a gentle family cruise along the River Wey. The boat will depart from Millmead Island in search of Santa – we’ll be looking for clues along the towpath as we pass by. Where is he hiding…? Enjoy mine pies and a glass of mulled wine as the hunt goes on! Once we find Santa, he’ll hop on board with his sack of gifts to join us in the Christmas cabin for the return journey. Tickets include mince pies and mulled wine or soft drinks, plus a present for the children.
